Neighbors:
I wanted to reintroduce myself to you as I come to ask for your vote for a 4th term on the Prattville City Council. I would like to ask for your help in this race. I need people to put signs in yards, talk to their friends, and help me get the word out about this campaign.
I want to first tell you about my background. My wife Carla and I have lived in Prattville for over 29 years. We raised our children in this community as they grew up and were educated in the Autauga County School system in Prattville. I am an active member of First United Methodist Church in Prattville. I have been involved with Boy Scouts, Girl Scouts, Dixie Youth baseball, Boys & Girls Club, Habitat for Humanity and am a charter member and past president of the Prattville Sunrise Rotary Club.
During my time on the council I have helped to bring new retail , commercial and industrial growth to our community, build a new park for our district, restore our down town area, attract and build the RTJ Capitol Hill golf complex, build the David D. Whetstone Baseball complex and we continue our efforts to improve on our infrastructure such as street paving, park improvements and many more.
During my next term I would like to continue what we started and continue on these paths. Some of the things I would like to do are to use my seat as the chair of the Leisure Services Committee to bring about a new sports complex, improve the fishing and leisure activity opportunities at Cooters Pond Park while addressing and improving the traffic situation and conditions along the major arteries through District 5. As always, I am open and receptive to your concerns and desires for our city.
If you can, please send this along to any of your friends that live in the 5th District.
I hope I can count on your support throughout this campaign and your vote on August 26th. If you need anything, please do not hestate to contact me through e-mail or by telephone at 365-2057. I look forward to representing you for another 4 years on the City Council. Together we can continue to help our home grow.
Thanks,
Mike Renegar
